Ask Me Anything

I have seen several bloggers doing this over the past few weeks, and I thought it would be fun.

This is your opportunity to get to know me a little better. Ask me anything you want - and I will post answers sometime next week. I won't be making a vlog, though... I hate how my voice sounds when it's recorded.

Simply leave your questions in the comment section here, e-mail me, or message me on my Facebook page.

PLEASE ask questions, though. If I only have a couple to answer, it's going to be really weird making an entire post out of that... so do you want to know about my marriage with Dan? Our time together when he was at the Academy? Baby Cookie? The marathon I ran last year? Teaching? My Etsy shop? Recipes / meal planning? Seriously - ask me whatever you want!

What do YOU want to know?

  1. I'll take this chance to pick your running brain! What advice would you give a new runner? I've tried the couch to 5k a couple times and never made it past week 4. I've started Jenny Hadfield's Zero to Running this week and I really want to finish it! I've never really liked running, but I want to. I'm not sure I'll ever be up for a marathon, but I'd love to do the Disney Princess Half some day.

  3. What names are you considering for your bun in the oven?! :) I LOVE hearing the names people are considering.

  4. What made you want to move to Colorado while Dan was at the Academy? Was it a tough decision? Do you plan to go back to teaching after you and Dan move to your next duty station, or will your blog and Etsy shop be your job? Was it hard not having loved ones at your wedding since some of them couldn't make the trip to CO? I'd love to hear more about your spiritual journey too, if I remember correctly you got baptized as an adult.

  5. I'm so glad you are doing this!!! I hope you have fun answering all the questions.

What is your favorite dessert to make?
What made it easier to "be away" from Dan while he was in the Academy?

  7. When Dan starts pilot school, what will his days be like? How do you plan on dealing with deployments? Are you going to stay at home with Cookie or start teaching again? Does Dan's grad school lengthen his commitment or count as part of his commitment?

  8. I have a couple! What was the best memory from your childhood? Where are some places you guys hope to be stationed? How many kids do you eventually want? How do you feel about your future children either being in the military or being a military spouse?
