Thursday, September 5th Prompt: Pass on some useful advice or information you learned and always remembered.
The best advice I've ever gotten is that NOTHING WORTH HAVING COMES EASY. This can be applied to every single facet of your life.
When I compare my relationship with Dan to my friends' relationships with their significant others, I often feel jealous because they are able to be normal couples and see each other every day, have dinner together every evening, and go to bed with each other every night. And then I remember that NOTHING WORTH HAVING COMES EASY.
When I am struggling to make sure a student learns what he/she needs to or to not take something personally at work, I remember that NOTHING WORTH HAVING COMES EASY.
When I am training for a race or a different physical goal, I often complain. It hurts. It's tough. Sometimes it's even miserable. But then I remember that NOTHING WORTH HAVING COMES EASY.
What is the best piece of advice you have to share? I would LOVE to hear it!
